1. Overview
This website is operated by Ember Ink. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Ember Ink. By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below, including any additional policies referenced here.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the site. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you should not use the site or place an order.
2. Online store terms
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this site. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you, in using the service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
3. Products and descriptions
We work hard to display our products accurately. Colours, glow and finish can vary slightly between screens, and photography of a lit product will never match a room exactly. Product dimensions are given as a guide and small manufacturing variances are normal.
Our lamps are decorative lighting intended for indoor domestic use. They are not reading lamps, not toys, and are not intended for use by unsupervised young children. Please keep small parts and batteries away from children and pets.
We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products we offer, to change product descriptions and pricing at any time, and to discontinue a product at any time.
4. Accuracy of billing and account information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details supplied at the time the order was made. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.
5. Pricing
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Where a product is shown with a higher struck-through price, that figure is our own recommended list price for the item, and the lower figure is the price you pay. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service.
6. Payment
All payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our servers. By submitting an order, you warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
7. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery of your order is governed by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Both form part of these Terms of Service.
8. Optional tools and third-party links
We may provide access to third-party tools over which we have no control. You acknowledge that we provide access to such tools "as is" without any warranties. Certain content and products available via our service may include material from third parties, and third-party links on this site may direct you to sites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy.
9. User comments and submissions
If you send us creative ideas, suggestions, proposals or other materials, whether requested by us or not, you agree that we may use, edit, copy and publish them without restriction or obligation to compensate you. You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third party and will not contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material.

Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers and availability. You are prohibited from using the site or its content for any unlawful purpose, to infringe upon our intellectual property rights or those of others, to submit false or misleading information, to upload or transmit malicious code, to collect or track the personal information of others, or to interfere with the security features of the service.

We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
